I have depressingly frequent dreams of being back in the Borg. I am out on the work thinking why am I here I don't do this anymore. I am in kingdom halls with my mag - underlined!! It is not so bad if the dream goes lucid and I can tell them what I think (such fun) but generally it is a right nightmare. Anyone else have the same type of dreams

Oh my..supreme being I've been having those dreams more frequently now, nearly every other night !! I've been out of the cult for 2.5 years now, for the first year or so they were infrequent, hardly ever but lately....Jeez !! Dreaming I'm at Conv, meetings, and in FS - really disturbing considering how different I am now !! I had one a few weeks backs where I told the CO, elder and my old boy that their teachings/lifestye are a "complete load of shit" and how could anyone take them seriously..It felt good waking up !!

What do you do in your free time?

just want to get some ideas.

i haven't had much of a free time in last two years particularly last year or so, well till last week anyway.

recently, i've tried taking latin dancing lessons but managed to get only to first session (well i'll go again this week but have already skipped two) this morning i've visited local sport center and tomorrow night i'm restarting my old flame as it were :) martial arts.. why am i saying that?

Surf..(not the Net), chase waves, listen to my gf , watch tele and listen to music... and remind myself how great it is to be FREE !!

2006 SERVICE REPORT - Feb 1, 2007 WT

i'm not sure if anyone's posted this yet, but here are the figures for the 2006 service report.

i highlighted the countries that have either a "0" or negative growth in yellow and i highlighted key countries where the you would expect more growth......i tried looking for england's stats, but i couldn't see it.

i looked under "england" and "united kingdom" but i can't see it.

That's why they've had 2 WT studies within 6 months of each other, telling the R&F they must cut off their own flesh and blood if they "rebel" against the WTS.

..Oh and I know it's been a thread many times before but I have to say that the lyrics and attitude of "It's My Life"- Bon Jovi were everpresent in my mind at around 15/16 when I was becoming less convinced in believability of JW life..

STILL growing up!! So...Counting Crows, Pearl Jam, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Marilyn Manson, Simon & Garfunkel...Could go on but those are the ones that sprang to my 2002 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon-affected mind !!

i've been wondering for a while, you know those "publisher record cards" that the jw's hold which detail each "publisher", well i remember reading that they are not for the person to view, they are strictly for the elders use..if that's the case, (that bugged me even when when i was a jw) would that not be a breach of the privacy act ??

Hey man, hope you're doing better now. It's funny that you mention that song, I remember back when it was popular a few years back in NZ (home) adn I was still a JW. I would listen to that song and although I was a pretty strong JW I remember thinking to myself how great it eould be to live by my terms, that it's MY life and that Idon't want/aren't going to live forever and that I should be having fun while I'm here, not bound by the religious shit........such a good feeling now !!

i have been bailed up once on the train to work early on a saturday morning, outside parliament station on another saturday morning and 5 minutes later walking down the street by 3 gorgeous chicks using their charm..oops radiant spirits to flick off the mags.. maybe there is a price on my head......

i can't believe just how irritated i got reading some of things on here today-i've been away for a few weeks, and now the anti-jw sentiment is flooding back .

i called my dad a few minutes ago to have a chat, and after all was said and done and we'd spoken about work, life (mine's fantastic btw) etc he tells me that "he thinks that what i need is some spiritual direction and belief in my life" !!

I called my Dad a few minutes ago to have a chat, and after all was said and done and we'd spoken about work, life (mine's fantastic btw) etc he tells me that "he thinks that what I need is some spiritual direction and belief in my life" !! I was sooooooooooo mad - can we not just be father and son and talk, leaving the disagreeable matters alone?? Every time we talk he does it, he just can't help himself...I said to him in reply "no I don't need that Dad, what I learnt was mind-bending, brainwashing bullshit......" - which resulted in him hanging up....After he'd done the usual JW shit of discrediting my intelligence and belief in evolution...

Maybe you can relate, maybe you can't but I am so so fucked off with him and the entire bunch of fuckwit retards that make the JW's....
